Model ship WASA , a sailing ship completely handmade in wood with many details. Rigs like original, very fine handwork, very decorative.
This model ship is the reproduction of well-known Frigate built 1626 to 1628 by the dutch master ship builder Henrik Hybertsson completely in wood. The Wasa sank after first trip near the shipyard. It has been retrieved and restaured with high cost. It is now in the WASA MUSEUM in Stockholm.
The model ship WASA ist completely mounted and ready to decorate your home.
This model has been handmade with much care using exotic woods and metal fittings.
The hull is in natural wood to admire the planks. Rigs can be tightened with special knots and sails are sewed in linen.
The model ship WASA has a hull length of approx. 80 cm and is approx. 87 cm high. It is mounted on a solide wooden stand with nameplate.
